A gender role is a special way of acting, depending on whether you are a girl or a boy. Today, girls and boys can grow up to be anything they want: teachers, doctors, policemen, architects, etc. But for the Timucuas, girls had certain jobs or roles, and boys had other jobs. Look at the list of jobs below. Print this page and then choose jobs which were only for boys and write them under "Male Gender Roles." Choose jobs which were only for girls and write them under "Female Gender Roles." If a job could be done by boys or girls, write it under the "Both" column.
